Water-based paint additive (thickening, drip prevention, paint flow improvement) 'Xanthan Gum'

Xanthan gum is an additive with pseudoplastic properties that contributes to the "low shear flow" and "prevention of sagging after painting" required during painting.

<Thickening Agents for Water-Based Paints> In recent years, paints for construction and other applications have been transitioning from solvent-based to water-based systems due to environmental issues (such as VOC problems). The formulations have also become more complex, and thickening agents used in water-based paints include cellulose-based thickening agents, associative thickening agents, and inorganic types, depending on the characteristics and performance of the paint. <Proposal from MP Gokyo Food & Chemical> We would like to introduce our product, 'Xanthan Gum', as an additive for water-based paints. Xanthan gum is a natural thickening agent with high safety, possessing pseudoplastic properties, and is a natural fermented polysaccharide.
